Hi, I'm Justin Kim. I was born and raised right here in the Inland Empire, and now I am running for Congress to serve and strengthen our community. I just spent two years working in Congress, and I personally witnessed how the pressing problems facing our district have been ignored.
Unemployment in San Bernardino County is almost 12 percent, and 100,000 people are without work. Our county also has one of the highest foreclosure rates in the state of California. Budget cuts at all levels of government are hurting an already-burdened education system.
Like you, I understand that Congress can and must act on these problems. A strong economic recovery is possible, but a new Congress must first focus on reforms that strengthen the finances of middle-class households. This is the key to job growth, a housing recovery, and stronger Inland Empire communities.
